me

The beginning, during my childhood, my father's paintings, mother's care and brother's companionship were a grand platform for creative play. My parents are people quite fond of nature and the flora and fauna, being so, my brother and i spent most of our time exploring forests, mountain ranges, crevices, secret and great bodies of water, animals and critters in the localities of our home region. From this wild but also social-to-an-extent upbringing i became very aware and appreciative of the skills of instinct and intuition. Just as impactful was the contrasting reaction to my brother's mathematical approach to life and scholarly success. I grew closer to emotional expression, an honest and imperfect performance of motorics and thought leading to a final result. With that as a starting point, as I started to take art and creation more seriously it grew from just a life of creative observation to a curious and creatively active state. At this point I did start to wonder and explore the theoretic side, the philosophy, history, themes and motives albeit as practically as I can manage, being with a brain that has been developing in a very physical and active world. The present digital revolution in my teen years has had it's effect on how I perceive and make through the world's films, digital photography and imagery, video games and miscellaneous virtual content. To explore the opposites I had applied to the Academy of Arts last year, as a student of Graphic Design, a profession requiring knowledge of all sorts of social awareness and sciences, a people-pleaser job, to further my knowledge and skill set, as well as broaden my view. I enjoy abstracting, the relations of colour and shape, the mix of concurrent motives that swim in thought and the splendid spontaneity of it. Captured by a similar but critical, honest hand in space, sometimes the idea less distinguishable and sometimes of clear form.
